GRAB YOURSELF A GUARANTEED SSDT 2017 RIDE OR SCOTTISH PRE’65 2017 GUARANTEED RIDE

SCOTT TRIAL CHARITY AUCTION 2016

With just over a week to this year’s Scott Trial, donations are coming in for the Scott Trial Charity Auction, which will be held on the evening of the trial, prior to the Results and Awards Presentation at Richmondshire Cricket Club.

A full list of auction items will be published over the next few days, but in the meantime we are very grateful to Edinburgh & District Motor Club SSDT Committee who have generously donated a guaranteed paid up 2017 entry in The Scottish Six Days Trial.  Come along to the charity auction and bid to skip the SSDT ballot with a paid for guaranteed ride.

We are also very grateful to Edinburgh & DMC’s  Pre ’65 Scottish Trial Committee who have promised a guaranteed ride for 2017 Pre ’65 Trial (not paid and please note that bike must meet criteria for trial).  This is another fantastic opportunity to jump the ballot for this popular trial.

If you would like to place a bid but are unable to come to the auction please email secretary@richmondmotorclub.com with your bid.

Thank you to everyone else who has donated auction items this year – keep an eye out for an updated list over the next few days.

RICHMOND MOTOR CLUB OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Richmond Motor Club (Yorks) Ltd regrets to inform its members that unfortunately the Club has been subject to an act of fraud and a significant amount of money has been taken. The matter is in the hands of the police and all necessary action is being taken.

The Club would like to stress that none of the Richmond Motor Club trials will be affected by this and all our trials will run as planned. This includes the upcoming Scott Trial, which remains totally unaffected and charity monies are safe.

In light of these unforeseen circumstances, we are sure that you will understand that the Club has decided to cancel this year’s Adult Annual Awards Presentation Dinner Dance in December. Adult award winners will be advised and awards should be available to collect at the Boxing Day trial.

The whole of Richmond Motor Club is working together to get through this devastating time and hopefully we can move forward together and make plans for the future.

Please continue to support our trials and with your help we are sure that we can continue as the strong sporting Club we are.

For and on behalf of Richmond Motor Club (Yorks) Ltd
