Another great weekend at the RMC annual Blue Bar Trophy Trial.  2 great days trialing in Coverdale just a shame the weather couldn’t match!  Sorry the results are later than normal but the results secretary was off on holiday.  The Provisional Results and Awards are available to download here (updated 29/5/19 for class error):  Blue Bar Trophy Trial Provisional Results 2019   Blue Bar Awards 2019-Awards

Congratulations to James Noble for winning the Blue Bar Trophy this year.

We have had some great comments from riders this year, so spread the word and remember to get your entries in early next year.

Many thanks as always to all who helped this weekend, Clerk of the Course and helpers, observers, secretaries (thanks to Sandra for taking on the Secretaries job for the weekend) etc its much appreciated and thank you to the landowners and riders for making it all possible.

Future Events

 Easy Clubman/Youth Trial – 2nd June 2019 – Crabtree, Gilling West – DL10 5JD – 10.30am Start – Catering at the start field.  All the usual courses and classes plus there will be a non competitive harder course for those wanting to test themselves.

Mintex Youth Time & Observation Trial at Hurst 23rd June 2019 – Places still available – Pre Entry so download and send in your entries asap.

We are looking forward to this weekend’s Blue Bar Trophy Pre 65 Trial starting at Horse House, Nr Braidley, Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 4TS.

We’ve received one or two queries re. Saturday’s start time, so just to clarify:

Start Time Saturday 25th May is 12.00 noon

Start Time Sunday 26th May is 10.30am

Another great RMC trial in beautiful Coverdale on Sunday, with one big 40 section lap.

Blue Bar Trophy Trial – With just under a week to go to this years Blue Bar trial we have a list of entries to download here.  Blue Bar Entries 2019     Please check that you are on the list if you are expecting to ride.  There are still some places left for this great weekend in Coverdale.  Please contact 01969 624146 to reserve a place and send your entry and payment in asap.

There are no final instructions for this trial you just need enough fuel for the 2 days but will refill back at the start field.

There is camping available at the start field for only £10 so why not make a weekend of it.  There are basic facilities – water and toilets and catering will be available all weekend.

As we still have places left at the following trials the closing dates have been extended until the 10th May for the Gerald Simpson and Blue Bar.  The Mintex is still the 14th June.  3 great trials and well worth an entry.

The Gerald Simpson Yorkshire Centre Trial will be held on Sunday May 19th and entries are now open.  A great run out with one big lap of approx. 30 miles and 40 sections.   This is a pre-entry trial limited to 150 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, but riders providing an observer (please give details on entry form) will be given preference. The Blue Bar Trophy 2 Day Trial will be held on Saturday and Sunday 25th & 26th May and entries are now open.  Always a great, sociable weekend in the heart of Coverdale with basic camping facilities and catering available all weekend. The Mintex Trophy Trial will be held on Sunday 23rd June and entries are now open.  This is a pre-entry Youth time and Observation National Trial for A and B class riders (NO C Class) and has been nicknamed as the ‘Mini Scott’!  The trial is becoming more and more popular each year and entries are limited to 150 and close on the 14th June 2019.
