What Is the Yorkshire Centre?

The ACU is the national governing body for motorcycle sport, and it's organised into regional Centres. The Yorkshire Centre co-ordinates trials across the county. It brings the member clubs together, sets the Centre calendar and handbook, runs the Centre championships and rider gradings, and supports clubs with officials and guidance.

Each member club runs its own events, and between them there's a Yorkshire Centre trial somewhere almost every weekend. That's a lot of riding on your doorstep, and it's why Yorkshire has produced so many British and World champions.

Behind the Scenes

Clubs Need You

Every Centre trial depends on volunteers: observers, clerks of the course, course setters and officials. The Yorkshire Centre and its clubs are always looking for more people to help behind the scenes.

No experience is needed to start, and training is available if you want to go further. It's a great way to give something back to the sport.
