CM B -Medium Course-Clubman B non Championship, O40,Twin shock and Pre65, Youth A, B non championship. C Class Championship round.
Easy Course- Clubman B non Championship, O40, Twin shock and Pre65, Youth A, B + C Non Championship. D MW Championship round – D Medium Wheels need to be on the main course if you are riding for championship points, following yellow deviation, unless otherwise stated when signing on.
Conducted Course for Youth Classes: D Small Wheels, E Class and a non competitive class for beginners.
Please note youth riders aged 16 and over riding machines greater than 125cc must enter an adult class.

Albert Shaw Memorial Trial

Scott Trial 2026 – Provisional Results: 17.10.2026 ACU:
Richmond Motor Club would like to give their congratulations to George Hemmingway for winning this year’s Scott Trial, a great achievement.

As always we would like to thank all those who made this year’s trial happen – too many to mention – but especially the landowners without who’s permission we couldn’t run the greatest one day trial in the world and the observers who stand out all day! Special thanks must also go to all the riders and supporters who make the trial such a great event and help us to raise so much money each year for the Scott Charities. And finally a big thank you to the Scott Committee and helpers for their hard work over the last few months, its a massive task running the Scott and they should give themselves a huge pat on the back.

Important information for Riders and Spectators
There is NO access to or from the Start Field from Marske this year as Clapgate Bridge is completely closed, at What3Words: evidence.pushover.midfield
Access is only via Richmond, please allow 20 minutes extra to go round the diversion to and from the Start/Finish Field.

Scott Trial 2026 – Final Instructions
With less than two weeks to go until the 2026 Scott Trial, we are busy getting the finishing touches sorted before the big day.
Riders – please read the Final Instructions CAREFULLY as there have been some changes made for this year.

Richmond Motor Club would like to thank the landowner’s, observers for observing, Marshalls, Swale Dale Mountain Rescue, Media, all the sponsors, the Clerk of the Course and his teams (there are to many to thank) and anyone else involved in the running of the trial. Also thank you to all the riders for entering and taking part and to the parents for bringing and supporting your riders.

SCOTT TRIAL 2026
Entries are now OPEN!!!
This year sees the running of the very special 100th Scott Trial which will take place on Saturday 17th October 2026 (subject to planning permission). This year we have Clerk of the Course Andrew Swainston and his Assistant Clerks of the Course plotting another great trial, and they have already been out and about looking at this year’s course which promises something for everyone, although of course this will still not be a trial for complete beginners.
Entries are via email or post and NOT via the ACU entry system and Entry Form’s and Regs are available to download below:
Please read the Reg’s carefully before filling in your entry form to make sure that you enter for all the correct awards.
Entries are on a first come first served basis and close on Saturday 13th September 2026 with a limit of 200 riders, so get your entry forms in as soon as possible to guarantee your place in this once in a lifetime Centenary Trial.
