CANCELLED- Eric Ridley Memorial Trial, 20.11.22

Unfortunatly the Clerk of the Course has been to look at the venue with the land owner today and have come to a decision to cancel tomorrows trial, due to some of the land being water logged.

Refunds will be made through the ACU online system.

Hopefully we can re arrange the trial in the future.

Sorry

Members update:

To all our members,

We are holding a Sunday lunch at Tennants for our Land owners to thank them for their continued support of Richmond Motor Club and allowing us to use their land.  If any RMC members would like to join us the cost for lunch is £33.  Please contact Ann Weatherill before the 15th of November Tel: 01677 450143

Usually we would hold our Youth Presentation in December but after discussions we have decided that we are going to present the youth trophies on the same night as the adult trophies.  The date for this is Friday the 20th of January and will be held at the Wensleydale Rugby Club near Leyburn.  More details to follow.

If anyone has any Richmond Motor Club trophies or flags please could they hand them in at either an up and coming trial, or make arrangements with Sandra: tel 07719921154 or 01969 624146

Also we are looking for people to help with some roles, for further information contact Sandra

Scott Trial Rider Updates and Charity Riders

The countdown to this years Scott Trial has really begun with only 13 days to go!

We have had a couple of rider changes so an updated rider list is available here:  Rider Entry List 2022 – updated 01.10.2022

As you will see there is still a waiting list so anyone that can no longer take up their ride please let the Scott Secretary know as soon as possible by emailing Ken at scottsecretary@richmondmotorclub.co.uk or phone 07703222147

This year we have a great Charity Team riding in a relay and raising money for Alzheimers Society (United against Dementia)  The six team members – Del Farrow, Greg Williams, Steve Kirkwood and three members of the Tate family Paul, Kevin and Stuart – will ride wearing number 201 but setting off towards the start of the field.   In addition to the team effort Dan and Jack Peace will also be riding to raise money for the cause.  Collection buckets will be at the start field and around the course throughout the day so please give generously.

We also have rider no 2 Mark Coombes for the Isle of Man riding for the Scott Charities.  He has been sponsored by various people per section/petrol stop/finish so we wish him well and hope he gets round!!  Anyone wishing to sponsor Mark, just get in touch.

We hope all the training is going well and look forward to seeing everyone on the 15th!
