Mintex 2017 – 1 day to go!
With only one day to go to this years Mintex the programmes have been printed and the riders bags made ready! This year riders will have number boards similar to the Scott Trial and Reeth 3 Day which they can take home as a reminder of their day. They will also get a copy of the programme but for anyone not riding or observing you can download and print out a copy of the programme here: Mintex 2017 Programme
**For anyone travelling to this years trial either riding, observing or spectating Downholme bridge is currently closed. You will need to follow the diversion signs to Marske from Richmond – on the road towards Reeth near the cricket club. Turn right at the garage and follow the road out of Richmond to Marske and then on to Hurst. The road from Reeth to Hurst is unaffected.
The forecast is set fair and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday with plenty of sun cream and water.
Mintex Trophy Trial – Sunday 18th June 2017
With less than a week to go to this year’s Mintex Trophy Trial the draw for rider numbers and start times has now been made. The programme will be finalized in the next couple of days and will be available for all riders in their packs and put on the website at the end of the week.
Once again we a great list of riders from near and far and the Clerk of the Course Nathan Stones is busy with his team marking out this unique Youth Time and Observation Trial which covers some of the Scott Trial territory and runs on the same rules.
This year’s Trial is on Sunday 18th June 2017 and the first rider sets off at 10.30 am and then at 30 second intervals. The start field is just outside Hurst, DL11 7NW. Catering will be available at the start field.
Those of you who have entered should have received your final instructions and rider list via email today. If not then please check your spam folders and contact Chris Wallis on chris.wallis@richmondmotorclub.co.uk

Reeth 3 Day – Carvery Tickets, Extra Shirts & Rider Update
As you all know by now we hold a very successful riders carvery on the Friday night of the Reeth 3 Day (21st July 2017) All riders receive 1 ticket as part of their entry and many of you have already ordered extra tickets for family and friends. NO tickets will be available during the weekend and must be ordered before the 30th June at the latest. Reeth 3 Day shirts are also very popular and again riders will receive a shirt but anyone wishing to buy a shirt and to be sure of receiving the size you want you can also pre-order on the same form. Display of Bikes
A big thank you to Geoff Lambert and family for organising the display of bikes on the Saturday.
There was a lot of interest and it made a great addition to the weekend.
Many thanks as always to all who helped this weekend, its much appreciated and thank you to the landowners and riders for making it all possible.

The Late Steve Bradley
Annette, Dan and Joe Bradley together with the whole family thank everyone for attending Steve’s funeral last Thursday, 18th May and for going back to the Rugby Club for a Celebration of Steve’s Life. The support everyone has given has been overwhelming and they are very grateful. Annette is delighted to tell you that the fantastic sum of £1,140.00 was raised in Steve’s memory and this is to be split equally between The Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The ACU Benevolent Fund. Thank you from The Bradley Family.
Blue Bar, Mintex and 3 Day Updates
With the Blue Bar trial only a week away you can download a list of riders (no numbers yet) to make sure that we have received your entry if you are planning to ride. Blue Bar 2017 – List of Entries as at 20th May 2017 Those of you who have forgotten to enter there are only a few places left so give Chris a ring on 01748 825844 to book your place. The forecast is looking good for a great weekend in Coverdale, and there is camping available at the start field for only £10 so why not make a weekend of it. There are basic facilities – water and toilets and McIntyre catering will be available all weekend. This year there will be no Blue Bar Disco and if its dry you can camp at the bottom of the field where it is a little flatter or through in the field where the RMC Marquee is.
The Mintex Trophy Trial is on the 18th June with entries closing on 8thJune 2017. You can download a list of entries received to date to check that we have received your entry. Mintex Entries received to 20th May 2017
