ALBERT SHAW RE-RUN 29.1.2017
There will be a conducted course tomorrow, with two courses on it. The harder course will be for our BE and DE riders. The easier course will be for the E, ED and EB Class riders (9 years and over).
Please only send competent C Class riders onto the main course. Other C Class riders can ride on the conducted course as a BE.
LOOKING FORWARD TO THE YEAR AHEAD
Just a reminder that the list of Richmond Motor Club 2017 events is now available to download from the website Richmond Motor Club Provisional Dates 2017
and we are planning to have a good full year of trialing, business as usual! Thank you to everyone who has given help and support to Richmond Motor Club during our recent troubles.
Entries for the ever popular Reeth 3 Day Trial will be launched at The Harold Graham Trial on 19th February – watch the RMC website and social media for details.
Some of the recent trials reports were delayed going into the D & S Times, due to a changeover of Sports Editor, however Barry Robinson has informed us that he has spoken with the new Sports Editor and things are now back on track.
Club and ACU Membership Renewals – If you haven’t already, please remember that you need to renew your annual Club membership and ACU membership now RMC Membership Form 2017
Clerk of Course Licence Renewals – any C of C whose licence has expired and you have not had contact with Ros Brown regarding attending a seminar, please email secretary@richmondmotorclub.co.uk

Richmond Motor Club would like to thank the Landowner, Observers, Clerk of the Course and helpers, Secretaries and anyone else involved in the running of today’s trial. Also thank you to all the riders for entering and taking part. Especially as it was a rather muddy day!

Entries closed today with a total entry of 88 riders. Following discussions with the Clerk of the Course ALL entries received to date will get a ride. The main reason for the restricted entry is parking, so please share lifts if you can and come in as few vehicles as possible.

JANUARY 2017 TRIAL UPDATES
Entries for our extra trial – which is to be held at Park Gate, Wensley on Sunday 15th January 2017 – close on Friday 13th January and are limited to 80 riders so get your entries in asap to reserve your place as spaces are going quickly.

Numbers will be given out on the day, and list of riders will be put up on the website on Sunday 8th January and will updated as necessary.
We have also re-arranged the Albert Shaw trial which was cancelled due to wet weather on Boxing Day. This will now take place on Sunday 29th January 2017 at 10.30 am and will beheld at The Woodyard, Reeth, Richmond DL11 6TS
All Adult and Youth Classes including small course. Entries on the day. Start Time: 10.30am:

EXTRA TRIAL – 15TH JANUARY – PARKGATE, WENSLEY – Pre-Entry – Entries now OPEN
Richard Sadler and helpers have very kindly agreed to run an extra trial for us on Sunday January 15th 2017 at Parkgate, Wensley.
PRE-ENTRY: – Please complete the entry form below and send it along with the correct fee of £15.00 for Adults & £10 for Youth riders to the Secretary of the Meeting (Chris Wallis) before the closing date of 13th January 2017. Entries will be restricted to 80 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, Riders will be given their riding number at the start. (Make cheques / money orders payable to Richmond Motor Club (Yorks) Ltd.)
CLASSES: – Adult, Green, Clubman and Youth A, B & C (NOT SUITABLE FOR C CLASS BEGINNERS).

BOXING DAY TRIAL CANCELLED
Unfortunately tomorrow’s Boxing Day Albert Shaw Trial has been cancelled, due to very wet ground conditions after the past few days’ stormy weather. Apologies for the short notice – we have been holding out, but after today’s and this evening’s continuous wet weather & high winds, the conditions are going to make the trial very slippy and difficult, as well as the start field areas, therefore a decision to cancel has been made.
We hope to rearrange the trial as soon as we can, so please watch the website and social media pages.

Youth and Adult Presentation – 2016 Championship Results
Richmond Motor Club held their annual Youth Presentation awards on Sunday and this year also saw the Adult Presentation being held on the same day in the evening. Many thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed a great day. The club would also like to thank all those who sponsored the event, made the awards, provided food, helped with decorations, gave raffle prizes and numerous other tasks, it is very much appreciated.
