Albert Shaw April 2016 Provisional Results

Saturday 30th April 2016 – Crabtree Fundraising Trial (Gilling West) – Easy Clubman/Youth Trial run by Izzy Rickaby and Niamh Clement in aid of their Peru Camp International Trip – 1pm Start.

Gerald Simpson Trophy Trial (Carlton) – Sunday 15th May 2016 – Adults/ CM/– Limit first 150 (early entry/late number)
Blue Bar Trophy 2 Day Trial (Horsehouse) – Saturday & Sunday 28th & 29th May 2016 – Pre65 & O40/50/60/Ladies etc – Limit first 150
Mintex Youth Time & Observation Trial – Sunday 19th June 2016 – Youth A,B & C (with ACU Approval) – Limit first 150
Reeth 3 Day 2016 – Rider List
After a phenomenal entry this year of 326 the ballot has now been drawn for the 250 places available.

Please note that riders cannot now change course. As you will see there is a long waiting list so please let us know if you need to withdraw as soon as possible by emailing reeth3day@richmondmotorclub.co.uk to give another rider a chance to ride.
Final Instructions and a list of rider numbers will be published at the end of June.
Re-Run of Albert Shaw Trial this Sunday 10th April
This Sunday 10th April sees the re-run of the Albert Shaw Trial which was cancelled last boxing day.
It will be held at Bridge End, Shaw Farm, DL11 6HB. All classes but no points towards the championship.
Start time 10.30am. Catering available at start. Entries close on day.

Updates & Gerald Simpson, Blue Bar & Mintex – Launch of Regs
The Reeth 3 Day entries have now closed and the response has been phenomenal with over 320 entries received for the 250 places. We will be holding the ballot in the next few days and will have details of the lucky riders hopefully by next weekend.
Next Sunday 10th April sees the re-run of the Albert Shaw Trial which was cancelled last boxing day. It will be held at Bridge End, Shaw Farm, DL11 6HB. The Gerald Simpson Centre Trial will be held on Sunday May 15th and entries are now open. This is a pre-entry trial limited to 150 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, but riders providing an observer (please give details on entry form) will be given preference. The Blue Bar Trophy 2 Day Trial will be held on Saturday and Sunday 28th & 29th May and entries are now open. This is a pre-entry trial for the older machine or rider and entries are limited to 150 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Closing Date 7th May. The Mintex Trophy Trial will be held on Sunday 19th June and entries are now open. This is a pre-entry Youth time and Observation National Trial and has been nicknamed as the ‘Mini Scott’! REMEMBERING ‘TUBBY’, DAVID ALLINSON
UPDATE: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE A6108 FROM RICHMOND WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY. PLEASE MAKE ALLOWANCES FOR THIS IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING TO THE FUNERAL AT GRINTON.
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing away of our friend Tubby.
Tubby was Richmond Motor Club’s longest serving member and played a main role within the Club from the start, for which he was awarded recognition and honorary lifetime membership from the Club last year.
Tubby was a good friend to many of us and will be sadly missed by everyone. Trials such as The Reeth 3 Day and The Scott Trial will not be the same without him.
Funeral service at St Andrew’s Church, Grinton on Monday 4th April at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. Donations in memory of David may be given at the service for The British Heart Foundation and for the work of St Andrew’s Church.
Our thoughts are with his family.

Easter Monday Egg Raffle
Antonio Alessandro of Alessandro’s Hideaway Coffee House and Sicillian Restaurant in Richmond, has kindly donated this 3ft Easter egg, for Richmond Motor Club to raffle. We will be selling raffle tickets and raffling the egg off at the Trial on Monday. All the money will be going to charity. The club would like to thank Antonio for his generosity.
