Centenary Scott Trial Entries

You can also get tickets now for the Scott Centenary Dinner, to be held on Friday 3rd October 2014 at Tennants in Leyburn. Tickets are just £30 each including welcome drink and 3 course meal and it is set to be a great evening with speakers, copies of every programme from 1920, photo’s and a chance to catch up with friends and like minded Scott supporters from far and wide. Congratulations to the 41 ladies and girls who entered and rode the Richmond round of the ladies and girls championship, we hope you enjoyed your day. We would like to thank the following people
Thank you to the Landowner for kindly allowing us to use their land today. Thank you to the Clerk of the Course and his team of Helpers who created the Trial. Scott Trial Centenary programme
With only 75 days to go until this years very special Scott Trial, Julia Robinson is pulling together this years programme. If you would like to advertise in this years centenary colour 100 page programme, you can contact Julia directly at scotttrial100@gmail.com for an advertisers pack.
Julia is also looking for interesting memorabilia and old photographs, so again if you are happy to share these she is looking forward to hearing from you.
Scott Trial Centenary – Entry Information
Just to make sure that everyone knows about the change to the entry system this year. As always entries are limited to 200 but will drawn by ballot (if necessary) after the closing date and will include up to 30 riders invited at the discretion of Richmond Motor Club rather than on a first come first served basis which has been the system in previous years.
We will not be cashing the cheques until the ballot has been drawn and will announce a list of riders on the website as soon as possible after that date.

Richmond Motor Club would like to thank all those involved in the running of this years Reeth 3 Day Championship Trial. A great weekend of trialing was had by all, with weather to match.
We would like to thank all the landowners, tenant farmers, observers & sponsors without whom, as always, the trial could not run. Also the 3 Day Team (too numerous to mention) including the Clerk of the Course and his assistants, for all working so hard to make the weekend run smoothly – special get well wishes to Nathan Stones from everyone for a speedy recovery.
Finally many congratulations to Jonathan Richardson on winning the Cliff Addison Trophy and Stuart Gaskell for winning the Clubman Course.

Centenary Scott Trial Entries – Now Open
This year’s Scott Trial is set to be a very special one as its the Centenary – One Hundred Years since the first one was run in 1914. The date for the diary is Saturday 18th October 2014.
We are also going to hold a Scott Centenary Dinner on Friday 3rd October at Tennants in Leyburn so keep the date free and watch this space for details of tickets etc to follow shortly.
PLEASE NOTE THIS YEAR THAT ENTRIES WILL LIMITED TO 200 AND DRAWN BY BALLOT, IF NECESSARY, INCLUDING UP TO 30 RIDERS INVITED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CLUB RATHER THAN ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.

Reeth 3 Day – Final Entry List
On Reeth 3 Day eve the weather looks set fair for all 3 days, but especially hot for Friday so make sure you bring plenty of Sun Cream, Midge Repellent and Water. The final list of riders is available to download here: Final Entry List . Programmes will be available on the start field with maps for each day showing where spectator sections are.

Reeth 3 Day – Final Call for Buffet Tickets
Just a final reminder for all those who have not bought their buffet tickets for the Friday night in the main marquee. Thursday 17th July is the deadline for extra tickets as the caterer needs to be informed of final numbers then. Please remember that NO tickets will be available after that.
If you wish to order tickets they are £12.50 each and are available from our Social Secretary Sarah Laws on 01748 818791.
Training School Menu July 2014
Youth training school menu Burger Queen Menu for two days training at Cogden Hall
Pre ordered lunch time lunch bag; A lunch meal bag will be provided for all riders with choice of food who wish to pre-order their lunch and not queue. Cost for the Lunch Bag will be £6.00. Then usual menu to order at the Burger Queen as normal, just thought the riders would be able to grab lunch without having to wait. Please download the menu and bring it to Lindsey at training school and your child’s lunch will be ready to collect at the lunch break.
