Get Involved

With Richmond Motor Club

A Sport for All Ages

Trials is a brilliant way for riders young and old to get involved in motorsport. With youth classes and adult riders taking part across the club scene, it’s a sport that can grow with you from an early age right through to later life.

Low-Cost Motorsport

Compared with many forms of motorsport, trials is one of the most accessible ways to get started. You don’t need a huge race team or expensive circuit setup, just the right bike, basic kit and a willingness to give it a go.

Healthy, Active and Outdoors

Trials gets you outside, moving and focused. It’s a great mix of balance, fitness, control and concentration, all set against the natural terrain of the Yorkshire Dales, which is central to the club’s identity.

Learn Real Riding Skill

Trials is all about technique, not speed. Riders learn throttle control, balance, observation and confidence on the bike, making it a rewarding sport whether you’re new to motorcycles or already experienced.

Be Part of a trials Community

Richmond Motor Club is powered by riders, observers, volunteers, landowners and supporters. The club regularly thanks observers, helpers, clerks of the course, landowners and riders in its event updates, showing how important the wider community is.

Grassroots to National Events

Richmond Motor Club gives riders a clear place to start and progress. From grassroots club trials to larger, more established events, there are opportunities to build confidence, improve your skills and take on new challenges at your own pace.
