With Richmond Motor Club

A Sport for All Ages

Trials is a brilliant way for riders young and old to get involved in motorsport. With youth classes and adult riders taking part across the club scene, it’s a sport that can grow with you from an early age right through to later life.

Low-Cost Motorsport

Compared with many forms of motorsport, trials is one of the most accessible ways to get started. You don’t need a huge race team or expensive circuit setup, just the right bike, basic kit and a willingness to give it a go.

Healthy, Active and Outdoors

Trials gets you outside, moving and focused. It’s a great mix of balance, fitness, control and concentration, all set against the natural terrain of the Yorkshire Dales, which is central to the club’s identity.

Learn Real Riding Skill

Trials is all about technique, not speed. Riders learn throttle control, balance, observation and confidence on the bike, making it a rewarding sport whether you’re new to motorcycles or already experienced.

Be Part of a trials Community

Richmond Motor Club is powered by riders, observers, volunteers, landowners and supporters. The club regularly thanks observers, helpers, clerks of the course, landowners and riders in its event updates, showing how important the wider community is.

Harold Graham Trial Cogden Hall Nr Grinton 6th March 2011

Trial Cancelled Dick Horner Memorial Trial 20th Feb 2011

The Clerk of Course has inspected the course this morning, and discussed with the landowner and it is felt that even if the snow goes the site will be too wet to run and park.  We hope to reschedule this Trial in the near future.  All details will be posted on the web...
